Dr. Joanne Cooper
Ph.D., PGradDip(CBT), Reg.Psychol.Ps.S.I.

Joanne Cooper is a Registered Psychologist specialising in Counselling and CBT. She has worked for almost 20 years with adults and teens in healthcare, community and educational settings.

Joanne’s work has included the HSE, St. James’s Hospital, and Youthreach, an intervention for early school leavers.
She opened CBT Dublin in 2009 due to demand for a professional, empathic and effective CBT service in South Dublin.

“There is a real need for easily accessible, community based CBT Dublin. Times are busy, and people are often looking for a more short-term, focused type of therapy, rather than anything long-term. CBT offers an opportunity to learn new skills and to challenge difficulties with a whole new approach, yet in a time-effective way.”

Joanne Cooper is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland, and a Fully Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).  BABCP is the “gold standard” for the practice of CBT in Britain and Ireland.

You can contact Joanne using the Contact Form or directly on 086 8453527.
